Elsim Commerce Ltd. has the production organization, equipment and experience to perform various operations in wire processing, marking, crimping, cable harness production, assembly of units and production of metal products. The technological capabilities are structured into four main directions according to the work stages and type of product.

Preparation, marking and identification

Wire preparation is the first important stage in the production of cable products. This includes cutting to length, stripping, end preparation, unwinding, marking, labeling and organization of materials according to the product, batch and customer requirements.

This stage provides the correct basis for subsequent crimping, assembly, testing and final inspection. When needed, different methods can be applied for marking and identification of wires, cables, harnesses, batches and products.

Equipment and processes

  • automatic and semi-automatic machines for cutting and stripping wires;
  • Komax Kappa 330, Schleuniger EcoStrip 9380, Junquan ZDBX-8 and other wire preparation machines;
  • machines for cutting PVC and heat-shrink tubes;
  • unwinding devices, stations and cable handling units;
  • marking systems from Komax, VideoJet, KOENIG & BAUER and Willett;
  • label printing and internal identification of products and batches;
  • packaging and auxiliary equipment for production preparation.

Cable harness production

Cable harness production includes a sequence of operations such as crimping, connector assembly, splicing, grouping, fixing, forming on a harness board and inspection of the finished product. Products can be made according to a sample, drawing, technical specification or specific customer requirement.

Depending on the complexity of the product, automated, semi-automatic and manual operations can be used, along with additional control points during production.

  • stripper-crimper machines and semi-automatic solutions for wire processing;
  • automatic machines for cutting, stripping, crimping and seal installation;
  • pneumatic machines for crimping cable lugs;
  • machines for connector crimping and auxiliary assembly presses;
  • ultrasonic splicing and welding of wires;
  • electrical testing of cable harnesses and connection verification;
  • pull-force control and inspection of critical connections.

Assembly of units and final products

In addition to cable harnesses and wiring assemblies, we perform assembly of units, kits and final products when the project requires additional mounting, soldering, heat shrinking, fixing, packaging or combining cable and mechanical components.

This type of product is made according to the specific application and may include additional inspection, functional control, visual inspection and preparation for direct integration at the customer’s site.

  • solder fume absorbers and workstations for electrical assembly;
  • machines for heat-shrink tubes and heat treatment;
  • spot welding and welding operations for suitable products;
  • winding machines, auxiliary assembly and packaging operations;
  • electronic scales, labeling and kitting control;
  • packaging, final visual inspection and preparation for dispatch;
  • production of items according to assignment, sample or technical specification.

Production of metal products

Our production capabilities include manufacturing metal components and products for various industrial applications. We produce turned hinges, machined parts, pressed products, bent parts and products according to drawing, sample or specific assignment.

Metal operations can be part of a standalone product or can be combined with cable, mounting and assembly processes in complex solutions.

  • 4-axis milling center for mechanical processing;
  • presses for processing parts, including 40 t, 6.3 t and hydraulic press;
  • guillotine, electric hacksaw and cutting equipment;
  • press brake for bending sheet material;
  • surface grinder and finishing operations;
  • welding and spot-welding operations for suitable products;
  • dies, punches and fixtures for serial and specific parts.

The combination of cable processing, crimping, assembly, marking, control, final assembly and metalworking allows us to perform both individual operations and more complex products according to assignment.
